Flags

The expression of worship unto God through flags is powerful and multi-faceted. It is not unusual that you will see banners set up throughout our sanctuary---as well as congregants who will be waving flags during our worship times together. Amongst the many Biblical directives for this---flags are meant to bestow honor to God, to signal a strategic alert to God’s presence, to declare heartfelt allegiance unto the Lord, to be a touch-point of faith, to boast of our victory in God, and so much more.

Sister Cheryl Blake, who is powerfully gifted in the ministry of flags and other dramatic expressions of worship unto God, is dedicated to sharing Biblical insights and directives to strengthen God’s people in the Scriptural instruction for these dynamic expressions of the Christian worship life.

“We will sing for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners…” (Psalm 20:5)
