Thirty minutes before the Sunday morning service, a team of dedicated prayer warriors gather in a room to intercede for the will of God and the presence of God to be manifested within our service. We do not take for granted the generosity of God’s Spirit being present with us during our times together. Of the many attributes of God, we know that He is certainly a ‘Gentleman’. God does not wish to impose Himself upon a meeting. Instead, God desires to be invited. Thus, our intercessors cry out to God before services to invoke His presence and His glory to be with us. Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
