When we meet for worship on Sunday mornings, it is wonderful to know that the Spirit of God will touch people’s lives with something that occurred within the realm of our meeting. Perhaps a song during worship---or a Scripture read---or a pastoral insight shared---may trigger a deep place in the heart of a congregant which needs to be brought to God in prayer. Thus, we have prayer teams which are available at the closure of services to help each person connect with God in prayer. These people stand in teams of two ready to assist the concerned congregant in praying through the dilemmas they face in life---whether the crisis is physical, emotional, relational, or simply circumstantial. God’s promises are steadfast and true.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
