About Pastor Ruben Duarte
Reverend Ruben Duarte is the Senior Pastor of THE LIFE CENTER Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. Along with his pastoral duties, Pastor Ruben, being an accomplished musician, also serves as chief worship leader of his congregation. Pastor Duarte's outreach in worship ministry includes rallies, conferences, governmental gatherings, and ministerial meetings--- predominantly throughout Texas, but also extending throughout America, Mexico, and Israel. He has several recordings of songs which he has written to enhance the worship experience of the Christian community.
Pastor Duarte is married to his wife of 28 years, Lamar, who actively supports him in pastoring the church as she heads up women's ministries and much more. They have a 16 year-old daughter named Gabriela.
Ruben Duarte ministers extensively in worship and speaks to those who have a deep passion for God's presence on how to develop a lifestyle of intimacy with God. His unique songwriting style encompasses an array of cultures and bi-lingual renditions. He ministers internationally at churches, conferences, seminars, retreats, crusades, television, and worship rallies.
Ruben's debut worship CD, entitles "MagniFire", was released in November of 2001. Ruben wrote all the songs on the CDE to usher the listener through a powerful praise and worship journey--from celebrant contemporary songs to passionate ballads that embrace the heart of God in lyric and melody. With songs ranging from English to Spanish to bi-lingual and even Messianic renderings, this CD captures a very unique collection of songs which have become embraced by a wide circle of Christians.
